Covering laws relating to employment discrimination under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, Rehabilitation Act, and other federal laws regulating employment, including the Fair Labor Standards Act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Social Security Act, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

Cover the history of employee and labor relations in the U.S., including some of the laws and principles that govern employee and labor relations (primarily in the private sector), and the practical application of these laws and principles in real-life situations involving collective bargaining, contract administration, and proceedings involving the National Labor Relations Board. The students shown here are dressed up a bit because that was the night they gave their in-class presentations on the collective bargaining simulation project they work on throughout the term.
